Originating in Italy, terrazzo (Italian for Terrace), was developed over 500 years ago by construction workers binding together random chips of waste marble they were left with, starting a trend that would travel way beyond the streets of Italia.
We’ve created a porcelain version that expertly mimics the look and feel of real terrazzo which offers a modern industrial look, an Italian ideal or a Mediterranean masterpiece in your home.
These porcelain tiles are rectified tiles, which means they are very even and uniform, allowing you to have the thinnest of grout lines/spacing (3mm or less) during installation.
We recommend you use the right spacing and adhesive for this elegant heavy-duty tile for best and long-lasting results. Try to dry lay the tiles on your floor first before installation to create a repeating pattern with the tiles.
