What is a Countertop Basin?
A countertop basin is essentially a ceramic basin mounted or placed directly onto a level surface such as a bathroom vanity unit or a wall hung counter made from brick and cement. They look almost like a large dish or bowl, offering a stylish alternative to regular basins.
Countertop basins do not connect to the wall at the back, and come in a number of shapes, sizes and designs. Some countertop basins come with a tap hole to mount your pillar tap and some do not come with a tap hole, in this case you will require a tall basin mixer which sits outside the countertop basin which will project the water into the basin.
