What is a Drop-In Basin?

A drop-in basin is essentially a ceramic basin placed directly into a level surface such as a bathroom vanity unit or a wall hung counter made from brick and cement. They look almost like a large dish or bowl, offering a stylish alternative to regular basins.

Drop-in basins do not connect to the wall at the back but rather fit directly into the hole or cavity made in the counter. Drop-in basins normally come with a tap hole to mount your pillar tap.
