The Promax Aluminium Heavy Duty Expansion Joint is an expansion joint designed to handle heavy duty use in commercial settings. These joints come in 2.5 metre long lengths in a single chrome colour. The height of the Promax Aluminium Heavy Duty Expansion Joint is 12mm and works with large format floor tiles.

Expansion Joints have a heavy duty polyurethane infill, desgined to absorb any movement of the tiling alongside protecting the edges of the tiling when exposed to heavy foot traffic. This can be stripped out and replaced if wear occurs over time - no need to damage the floor to replace the joint.

The use of this infill as a movement accommodation material offers an outstanding flexibility, chemical and weathering resistance, in addition the tensile strength is a contributing factor to the durability.
